Deputies Respond to Aldie Home
According to Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman, a relative contacted authorities and reported that Roger Bradford had told them over the phone that he had killed his wife.
Deputies responded to a home in the 24000 block of Quimby Oaks Place in Aldie at approximately 12:10 p.m. and found Lisa Bradford dead inside the residence.
Authorities said the investigation remains focused on the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.

Lisa Bradford worked as a real estate agent in the Aldie area. Neighbors described her as a kind and community-minded person who regularly checked on people around her.
Neighbor John Niles told NBC Washington that Bradford would occasionally send gifts and reach out to see how neighbors were doing.
“She was just a good person,” Niles said, describing her death as heartbreaking.
Husband Arrested After Multi-State Search
Authorities said Roger Bradford left the area before deputies arrived, prompting a search that extended across several states.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said the search involved Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania State Police eventually located and arrested Bradford at approximately 3:15 p.m. in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
He was being held in Pennsylvania while awaiting extradition to Virginia.
Sheriff Chapman said investigators believe the shooting was domestic in nature and that there was no ongoing threat to the public.
Charges Filed Against Roger Bradford
Roger Bradford, 60, has been charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
